1. There will be no author eliminations.
2. Applications open June 1st.
3. Applications close June 18th.
4. Twice in the contest, all characters will be eligible to be voted off.
5. There will be no Top Thirty votes.
6. There will be a weekly audience vote, but for a different effect on the story each week.
7. There will be no Application Categories.
8. Applications will be accepted from any of the four Points; Redwall & Vermin Duo, Salamandastron & Long Patrol, Shrews & Woodlanders, Corsair Crew & Otter Oarslaves.
9. Six characters will be chosen by the Panel. Four will be voted in by the audience.
10. It is up to the writers to decide who wins Redwall's First War.
11. Any canon Redwall species, age and allegiance will be accepted.
12. There will be Winners at the end, regardless of character deaths.
