Welcome and Announcements
By: Philip P.
Welcome, welcome. Welcome to another issue of the Terrouge Ezine (the "Horray, Daskar's away on vacation, let's party!" issue). This month our ezine is once again graced with the artwork of the very talented Rebecca R. (Axcelia). Her piece really captures July - this wonderful month of summer. A time for lying back in the sun with a nothing to do.
But July is also the month of change. Of Independence. Canada kicks off the party on July first with Canada Day, but no less than four other countries also have an Independence Day in July, and France celebrates Bastille Day. July, that seemingly quite summer month, is actually a bit more exiting. This is the month of fireworks, and of other patriotic displays. It is also the month of the Tour de France, so any of you who follow these bikers as they race around France should be well prepared by now.
As I mentioned above (and on the forums) when you, the Terrouge readers, actually see this article I will be out along the west coast somewhere, sailing. As such, as of me writing this, our issue this month consists of three articles. For our first article, Snowspine makes a brilliant return with the first article in a series on character building. For any of you who do any writing, this is a must-read article. Our second article (and the first guest article that has come out in a long time) is from Kyndeyrn. This article explores the ever classic death post. The last article in the issue that I've seen, is an editorial piece on the Avian Influenza by myself. Of course, this issue may grow in size before it gets published. I am writing this on the 28th, and Terrouge issues seem to be very good at growing in size the night before publication. I guess we shall see what happens.
I think that is all I have to say for this issue. So, enjoy dear readers, and I shall see you upon my return.
