January's Issue

Postby Ashen Fox on Mon Dec 28, 2009 12:05 am

Greetings, all.

First off, I'd like to apologize for the fact I made no official announcement regarding December's issue-less-ness.

Second off, I'd like to beg your pardon for the fact that January's issue will be coming out on the third of that month, due to several troubles of my own (mostly regarding travel). Fear not, though-- for there will be an issue.

Also, thank you for entering into yet another year with us, and may you be greatly blessed in 2010.

~Ashen Fox

EDIT: The issue should still go up on the third, however not by midnight. (1/2/10)

EDIT2: Working on getting several things ironed out, issue should go up within the next 24 hours. An announcement will be made when it does. Thanks for your patience, dear readers. (1/3/10)

In light of the lack of a recent update, I hope everyone on the staff is well.

I look forward to reading a great issue of Terrouge and the benefits that a bimonthly schedule will bring to the magazine.

Apologies on the lack of update. >.< It's entirely my fault. At this point I'm hesitant about setting a specific date, but it will be going up, life just isn't wanting to let me know -when-.

Well, at least it will be going up, thank Jacques. I don't think I could take two months straight without a new Terrouge...

Seriously, terrouge is one of the only remaining Really active ROC sites. If Terrouge suddenly went *poof* then the Redwall Online Community, or what's left of it, will never be the same.

Err. "really active"? I just counted 8 forums that haven't had posts since 2009, some of them since spring 2009.

Well, relativly speaking of course. "Active" really isn't what it used to be.

Good luck Ashen Fox! It's good that you're focusing on the details of your life rather than getting up the issue as quickly as possible. We'll see it when we see it, and hopefully it will be all the better for the wait.

The Redwall online community is now like a zombie apocolypse. All of the inactive sites are like the zombies, and the ones that are still here, such as Terrouge, are the survivor colonies who are fending off the inactivity zombies. Wow that was random. But strangely accurate...

Given that it is now only a week and a half until February, posting it now seems wasteful. Just wait until February and change the cover text.

It's February- do you know where your Terrouge is?
Really, I can respect the fact that there have been some issues involving travel and RL and whatnot, but two months, going on three, is a bit of a wait for a magazine that is traditionally published every month. If possible, could we at least have an estimate of when the next issue is going to be up?

Would you accept "soon?"
In life, the only thing that ever adds up are the numbers on a piece of paper

For thirty years I worked because I had to, now I work because I want to. The difference cannot be explained, only experienced.

Retired, what a beautiful word

Soon as in when? tomorrow, next week, or two more months? Sorry...

Again, my apologies for how horrendously slow I've been with this. I have it all but ready to go up-- it just depends on one or two more things. Thanks for your patience.
